2024 TIME Task Force Conference: Community, Connection, Growth

The 2024 TIME Task Force Conference took place October 13 – 16 in Athens, Georgia. This event brought together traffic incident management (TIM) professionals from all over the country to network, share, and learn.  

The conference opened with an insightful and inspiring speech from the Georgia Department of Transportation’s (GDOT) chief engineer, Meg Pirkle, who spoke on GDOT’s history, its current efforts, and the future of TIM in Georgia.  

The conference was a huge success, bringing together over 120 attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors. Attendees were able to attend sessions detailing TIM advancements, strategies, and lessons learned; visit with exhibitors to see the latest industry technologies; and network with one another to build stronger ties and coordination across the industry.
