Walton County Heavy Wrecker Technical Rescue Training for Responders

Please join us for a training that was developed as a way for responders to know the capabilities of their towing partners, and how they can be a resource for incidents involving commercial vehicles and entrapments. It will include multiple scenarios where responders learn how to utilize specialized equipment to hook up to commercial vehicles and the communication and coordination needed between responders and towers on the scene.

Topics covered will include:

• Incident command
• On-scene communication and coordination
• Tow company fleet and capabilities
• Tow company loose equipment
• Training received by heavy wrecker operators
• Multiple scenarios

There will be a one-hour lunch break where lunch will be provided.
