2022 Committee Chair Nominations Are Now Open!

The Georgia Traffic Incident Management Enhancement (TIME) Task Force is now accepting Committee Chair nominations from September 1 until November 1 at 11:59 p.m. Committee Chairs will serve a two-year term, which begins on January 1, 2023. See the official flyer below for more details.

  1. How does the nomination process work?
    1. Fill out the nomination form found on the TIME Task Force website (timetaskforce.com) and add a 150-word description of the nominee and why they will be a fit for one of the TIME Task Force chair positions. Please be sure to designate one of the four positions.
  2. When does the nomination open and close?
    1. September 1 – November 1, 2022
  3. Are self-nominations accepted?
    1. Yes, you are welcome to nominate yourself or anyone else that qualifies.
  4. What is financial commitment?
    1. There are no financial commitments to become a committee chair.
  5. What if I am nominated but not elected?
    1. If you are not elected, you may re-apply at the next nomination opening and we encourage you to reapply.
  6. What are the ways to nominate someone?
    1. You can nominate someone or yourself by filling out the nomination form on the TIME Task Force website at timetaskforce.com.
  7. What if I miss the deadline to nominate someone/myself?
    1. The Nominating Committee takes nominations every two years. If deadlines for that year’s nominations have closed, the person’s name will be included in the leadership database. Individuals in the leadership database receive notifications of the upcoming Call for Nominations and opportunities to serve.
  8. How do I know if I have been nominated?
    1. If you are nominated for a position, you will be contacted via email notifying you of the position(s) for which you were nominated to ascertain your interest in the position.
  9. How are selected nominees announced?
    1. Nominees will be notified via email and phone call then posted to the TIME Task Force website.
  10. When does voting take place?
    1. Voting is expected to take place at the November 2nd TIME Task Force Board Meeting.
