TRIP Hazmat Classes - April 15 & 16

Make plans to attend this hazmat training opportunity to receive certification for TRIP Operator and Supervisor status. Classes will be conducted by Larry Seabolt Jr. - Remtech Engineers.

Operator-level certification requires completion of one of the three Operator sections. Those seeking Supervisor-level certification must complete one of the Operator sessions in addition to the Tuesday afternoon class.  
Training Schedule:

Monday, April 15
8 a.m. to 12 p.m. - TRIP Operator

1 p.m. to 5 p.m. - TRIP Operator

Tuesday, April 16
8 a.m. to 12 p.m. - TRIP Operator

1 p.m. to 5 p.m. - TRIP Supervisor

Each class is limited to 12 individuals (first come, first served). Pre-registration is required.

The Operator course is $85.00 per person; the Supervisor course is an additional $65.00

Unless other arrangements are made with the instructor, please come to the training prepared to make payment.

Flagger Certification Course - Feb. 19, 2013

National Safety Council’s Flagger Certification Course
The NSC Flagger Certification Course is a comprehensive skill-building session that meets Federal industry guidelines, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the ANSI standard ISEA-107-1999. Flagger Training is required for all TRIP Operators. The Flagger Certification certificate must be renewed every two years.

The class will be held from 1:00PM until 5:00PM on Tuesday, February 19th, 2013. The location for the class will be at Wrecker 1, 940 Dailey Mill Road, McDonough Ga. 30253

Anyone wishing to attend this session must pre-register. If there are not at least 10 people pre-registered for the class by Monday February the 18th,the class will be cancelled and re-scheduled for a later date. Those who pre-register for the class will be notified by email or telephone on Monday, February 18th as to the status of the proposed class.

The cost for the class is $70 per participant which may be paid in cash or company check at the time of the class. If paying by check, please make the check payable to: Gossett Consulting Services, LLC. Please plan to arrive between 12 Noon and 1PM on February 19th for Class Registration.

National TIM Responder Train-the-Trainer Workshop

 

Roswell, Ga.    Feb. 19-20, 2013

 

The new National Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Responder Train-the-Trainer Course is designed to form a ready group to deliver training to other area responders.

 

The workshop includes one full-day and a half-day session. Participants will receive the content and materials needed to provide National TIM Responder Training Courses to multidisciplinary groups, encouraging safer and more efficient roadways through improved incident response.

 

This course was developed as part of the Strategic Highway Research Program 2 (SHRP 2), designed to help responders achieve the Traffic Incident Management National Unified Goal objectives of: responder safety; safe, quick clearance; and prompt, reliable, interoperable communications.

February 5th, 2013. The location for the class will be at
Martins Training Facility on Martin Road in Cartersville, Ga. 30020

There are currently 6 openings for anyone who wishes to attend
this session. The cost for the class is $70 per participant which may be
paid in cash or company check at the time of the class. If you are
planning to attend, please arrive between 1PM and 2PM for
Registration.
